Charities and Organisations We Support

Below is a summary of how The Gale Foundation look after your Data.

Your Right of Access & Correction

Our partners have always been able to contact us about changes to their details with a view to updating our records. We feel it is important that the data we hold is correct so as to provide a better service.

This is still the case so if you believe the details we have are incorrect and you wish to have them corrected, please contact us at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Your Right to Erasure

If you want us to delete your details, please get in touch with us at the email address above and we will make sure your details are deleted within 30 days of the request being received.

Please be aware that support and services we supply must be cancelled in order for us to delete your information. Any active support or services still in place would require us to continue processing your data, so we will retain your information for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose for which the Data is being held.

We will also be required to retain, by law, certain information for legitimate business purposes, such as VAT and accounting records.

Your Right to Restrict Processing

We use a ‘need to know’ access regime within our business, using passworded cloud accounts to control who can view a customer’s personal data. By doing this only the relevant people involved in a relationship with a customer can view their details.
Your Right to Opt In/Out of Marketing Contact

Though we rarely use direct email marketing we’ve always used an opt in process when collecting recipient’s email addresses (Subscribe or Unsubscribe). We have also always provided recipients with an unsubscribe option in all of our marketing emails, which automatically removes unsubscribed email addresses form our mail out lists. This will continue as before but be aware that if more than one email address has been subscribed, then each email address will need to be unsubscribed.

If you have opted in for marketing content, please be aware that we only use the data provided and the information we collect to communicate relevant marketing to you.
Please be assured, if we need to contact you either by email or telephone due to problems with your service or website that might affect your business, we always will.

Automated Processes

Like many modern businesses we use automated processes which helps us to stay efficient, however when it comes to making some key decisions that impact customers and their personal data, we always ask the customer to clarify any relevant data before making final decisions.

By doing this we hope ensure that everything works as expected whilst giving us a better chance of picking up on abnormal practices and concerns, such as those created by fraudulent activity.

Mission Christmas - Cash For Kids

Mission Christmas

MISSION CHRISTMAS Cash For Kids (CFK) is Bauer Media’s national charity which operates across 22 areas around the UK. The southern region, which the GFT supports, covers Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey and the Isle of Wight. Bauer radio stations covering this area have included Wave 105, Fire , Magic & Absolute but as of 2024 have merged into Greatest Hits Radio.

The mission of each region of the charity is to respond to the needs of children in their local communities and they aspire to enable all children to live life to the full and achieve their individual potential.

Mission Christmas is one of the annual appeals CFK organise nationwide. The southern region organises one of the largest and most successful, regularly collecting, sorting and delivering over 60,000 donated gifts to 20-25,000 children and young adults living in poverty and hardship. Without these donations these youngsters would end up with no presents to open on Christmas day.
