The GFT were pleased to support Neil Bichard in his epic challenge of completing the London Marathon back in April. Neil was looking to raise £2,000 for local Christchurch charity Macmillan Caring Locally, another cause close to the hearts of the GFT.
Our donation of £209 took Neil’s total pledged to £3,000, a figure which has been greatly exceeded since with the final figure being in excess of £4,500.
The Trustees would like to thank Roger Morris of Morris Lane for providing free accountancy services to the charity this year. This has enabled us once more to make sure that 100% of the funds received into the charity are spent on our causes.
